  • I purchased a home a couple of years ago and I want to register a Home Stead declaration, as I spoke to the Escrow company they mentioned that I did not have to do the declaration any more, that I was covered under the home stead decl. automaticaly, is that true?

When am I supposed to get the final one? Owner of house doing a complete remodel and could be months before she's done. Am I supposed to wait that long to hear back? Also, what is the lifetime of a carpet? Their trying to charge me for cleaning when carpet is 20 years old and we lived there for 5 years.
